"Don't give them a piece of ass, until they give us peace that lasts!"
It's a bawdy, anti-war, sex comedy! Come join the protest!
It's a raunchy comedy! Come join the lusty fun!
It's by that ancient Greek playwright Aristophanes
Hey, it 'opened' in 411 BCE!

Director Sheriden Thomas collaborates with playwright Ellen McLaughlin to explore her 2003 adaptation of Lysistrata, originally featured in the Lysistrata Project that emerged "to stand against war" and that reminds audiences of the dangers of demonizing communities as "the other." Artists have returned to this biting comedy for more than 2000 years. Come join the gals who capture the treasury and organize a sex strike to end war.
